MIRPUR, Nov 22 (APP):Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has said that the AJ&K metropolis Muzaffarabad, being the face of the state, will receive the government’s fullest attention and resources for its improvement and development.
Speaking to the media after offering Fateha at the mausoleum of Colonel Asif Ali Awan Shaheed in the state capital city on Saturday, the prime minister paid rich tributes to the martyr, noting that Colonel Asif Ali Awan sacrificed his life for the beloved homeland. The Prime Minister said the government would formulate a comprehensive plan to address the traffic problems in the capital and ensure its effective implementation.
He expressed confidence that the federal government would fully support us accomplishing the ongoing development projects in the region, including those under the PSDP. He added that he would also take the Prime Minister of Pakistan into confidence regarding these initiatives.
“The Mansehra–Muzaffarabad Motorway, the M4 project, and the Lohar Gali Tunnel project are also among our priorities,” he noted. Highlighting the limited time available to the current government, PM Rathore said, “We have little time, but our government will perform like a T20 team, and you will see us hitting fours and sixes.
”The Prime Minister was accompanied by Forest Minister Sardar Javed Ayub, PP leader Mukhtiar Abbasi, Deputy Mayor Khalid Awan, Shaiq Gilani, Qalb Abbas, Sheikh Azhar, Shaukat Khaksar, and hundreds of PPP workers.
