ISLAMABAD, Nov 22 (APP):Zohaib Ch, representative of the Sadequain Foundation USA, has met with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Okara, Prof. Dr. Sajjad Mubin & Head of Fine Arts Department Iqra Ayaaz to explore potential areas of future collaboration.
The meeting took place at the University of Okara.
The meeting highlighted the legacy of Pakistan’s legendary artist Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi and emphasized the Foundation’s mission to preserve and promote his artistic heritage, said a press release issued here on Saturday.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the Foundation’s valuable contributions and expressed keen interest in collaborations focusing on fine arts education, workshops, and academic enrichment inspired by Sadequain’s life and work.
During the meeting, Zohaib Ch. formally presented Dr. Salman Ahmad’s acclaimed book The Legend of SADEQUAIN to Prof. Dr. Sajjad Mubin.
Expressing his views, Zohaib Ch. stated, “The youth must be connected to Sadequain’s thought and creativity — his legacy is a national treasure.”
The gesture marked an important step toward establishing educational partnerships between the University of Okara and the Sadequain Foundation USA, fostering opportunities for students to learn about and engage with the philosophy and art of one of South Asia’s most influential painters and calligraphers.
