MULTAN, Nov 22 (APP):Acting President Syed Yusaf Raza Gilani on Saturday said that resolving public issues, ensuring basic facilities, and completing development projects on time were top priorities of the government.
He expressed these views at a luncheon hosted in his honour by MPA Kamran Abdullah Maral at his residence. MNA Syed Abdul Qadir Gillani was also present. The event was attended by prominent political, social, and notable figures.
During the gathering, detailed discussions were held on the constituency’s overall situation, public issues, ongoing and proposed development schemes, local government elections, and government measures at the grassroots level.
Gilani said that practical steps were underway for public welfare, and relevant departments had been directed to speed up their work. He added that the pace of development schemes in the constituency would be further improved to provide early relief to the people.
MNA Syed Abdul Qadir Gillani briefed the participants on ongoing development work, infrastructure improvement, road construction, the condition of educational institutions, and challenges in the health sector. He said new projects aimed at public convenience are also under consideration and will begin soon. The local government elections and party strategy were also discussed.
Former MPAs Syed Ahmed Mujtaba Gillani, Dr. Javed Siddiqui, and other dignitaries attended the event.
