ISLAMABAD, Nov 22 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Shams Colony police team has arrested two members of an organized motorcycle-theft gang, recovering four stolen motorcycles worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
An official told APP on Saturday that the arrested suspects were identified as Abdul Qasim and Sajid Ali, both of whom were wanted in multiple theft cases registered at different police stations.
He said the police recovered four stolen motorcycles from their possession, and further investigation is underway to trace additional recoveries and accomplices.
SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said that all legal proceedings would be completed to ensure the accused receive due punishment. He added that operations against criminals depriving citizens of their valuables would continue without interruption.
He further stated that large-scale crackdowns are being carried out against organized and active gangs involved in property crimes, reaffirming that protecting citizens’ assets remains a top priority of ICT Police.
