ISLAMABAD, Nov 21 (APP):Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) National Assembly candidate from NA-18 Haripur Babar Nawaz Khan on Friday held a detailed meeting with Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam regarding the by-poll scheduled on November 23.
During the meeting, Babar Nawaz had given a detailed briefing to the federal minister about the election campaign, union council level workers, and organizational strategy.
Amir Muqam appreciated the day-to-day hard work of PML-N leaders include Pir Sabir Shah, Sardar Mushtaq, Raja Faisal Zaman, Qazi Asad especially the women’s wing, MNA Dr Shaista Jadoon and MPA Shazia Jadoon, as well as the entire Haripur workers and supporters, also expressed his special gratitude to them for running the election drive smoothly.
He also paid tribute to the excellent campaign under the leadership of Captain (Retd) Muhammad Safdar and Murtaza Javed Abbasi.
The minister also extended thanks all the office bearers and responsible persons who came from different districts of the province for carrying the campaign amicably. Amir Muqam said that this election was not only the election of Babar Nawaz Khan, but also of our leaders and the entire PML-N.
He emphasized that this election would decide the progress and welfare of Haripur. “The love and trust with which the people saw the Hazara Motorway, hundreds of gas and electricity projects and other development works in the past, the same trust would once again become the basis for the success of the this ruling political party.”
He urged the people of NA-18 Haripur to vote for the development and prosperity of their area by stamping the lion on November 23. He pledged that the federal government would continue to play its same role for Haripur as it had always done for them.
