LAHORE, Nov 21 (APP):The Punjab government has decided to invite tenders shortly for a green zone consisting of 3 to 80 kanals of land will be created around 40-km railway track from Shahdara to Raiwind.
The Punjab government has approved the plan to create a green zone.
Managing Director (MD) Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Raja Mansoor Ahmed said that tenders for the green zone project will be called soon, the project will be completed in one and a half years, 30 new parks will be created in the green zone.
The parks will be built on 3 kanal to 80 kanal land, quality recreational facilities will be provided in the parks.
Sports and fitness facilities will also be available, and the problems of pollution and smog will be eliminated through the green zone.
