RAWALPINDI, Nov 21 (APP):The Police on Friday arrested nine suspects in separate actions across the district, recovering more than 1.6 kilograms of charas, 50 litres of liquor and illegal weapons with ammunition.
According to a police spokesman, the Wah Saddar Police nabbed a man with 1.6 kilograms of charas. The Ganjmandi and Chaklala Police picked up a suspect each with 20 litres of liquor, while the City and Kallar Syedan Police apprehended an accused each after recovering five litres of the contraband.
Meanwhile, in operations carried out in the jurisdictions of the Banni, Ganjmandi, Mandra and Kahuta police stations, four suspects were rounded up with illegal weapons and ammunition.
