PESHAWAR, Nov 21 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Friday paid rich tribute to Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto on his birth anniversary, calling him a “bright chapter” in Pakistan’s political history who stood firmly against dictatorship at a very young age.
The Governor said Shahnawaz Bhutto emerged as a powerful voice for democratic values and public rights, embodying the Bhutto family’s great legacy of sacrifice, struggle, and public service.
He said that Shahnawaz Bhutto’s martyrdom remains a painful yet historic chapter in the nation’s struggle against authoritarianism one that is still remembered with deep respect.
Governor Kundi reaffirmed that the Pakistan Peoples Party would continue its efforts to realise Shahnawaz Bhutto’s vision of a strong federation and a truly representative government. He said Shahnawaz Bhutto’s ideals and principles continue to inspire the youth of Pakistan.
He added that the birth anniversary of Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto serves as a reminder that sacrifices made for democracy, the Constitution, and people’s rights never go in vain. The PPP and its workers, he said, remain committed to advancing his mission with unwavering determination.
