LAHORE, Nov 21 (APP):The Iqbal Town police arrested an alleged habitual harasser during an operation here on Friday.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Iqbal Town Dr Muhammad Umar, the accused, Saeed, was taken into custody after he was seen on CCTV harassing a woman in Pak Block. The spokesman said the suspect had also been involved in similar incidents earlier, including one in the Ghaziabad area, while initial inquiry revealed he had harassed three women in Wahdat Colony as well.
The SP said police signaled the suspect to stop near Moon Market on suspicion, but he attempted to flee. He fell from his motorcycle during the escape attempt and injured his left hand. Police recovered a 30-bore pistol along with ammunition from his possession.
A case has been registered against him and investigation is underway.
