LAHORE, Nov 21 (APP): A sessions court on Friday awarded life imprisonment to Muhammad Aslam for murdering his fellow tailor by slashing his jugular vein with scissors.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Ijaz Ahmed Bosal announced the verdict, sentencing the convict to life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs. 300,000 after the prosecution successfully established the charge.
North Cantt Police registered an FIR against Aslam on December 16, 2024, under murder charges. The investigation revealed that the accused killed his colleague, Kashif, following a minor dispute, attacking him with scissors and fatally cutting his jugular vein.
Prosecutor Bilal Abdul Rauf presented 17 witnesses during the trial, leading to the conviction.
