Taxila, Nov 21 (APP):Taxila police have arrested a four-member criminal gang allegedly involved in multiple robberies and motorcycle thefts across various districts, officials said on Friday.
According to police, the arrested group, known locally as the Bali Gang, was traced and apprehended through a combination of technical surveillance and human intelligence.
During the operation, police recovered 12 stolen and snatched motorcycles, 22 mobile phones, Rs100,000 in cash, and illegal weapons.
Police said that all recoveries were made following disclosures and identification by the suspects during interrogation. The gang members also confessed to committing more than 25 criminal incidents in different districts.
Investigators noted that the suspects are previously record-holders in cases of robbery, theft, and possession of illegal weapons in the twin cities.
