Students showcase creativity in Arts, Crafts & Calligraphy Exhibition in UoT

QUETTA, Nov 20 (APP):The Education Department at the University of Turbat (UoT) organized an Arts, Crafts, and Calligraphy Exhibition under the supervision of faculty member Ms. Yaqoot Sayed.
The exhibition featured a diverse collection of projects created by the 2nd-semester students of the B.Ed. Honors program.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, Chairperson of the English Department Dr. Shah Mir Baloch, and senior faculty members from the Education Department, including Manzoor Ahmed and Ms. Durjan Gichki, as well as a significant number of faculty and administrative staff and students.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan commended the creativity and effort displayed by the students.
He reiterated the University’s commitment to exploring the potential of its youth, stating that UoT focuses on equipping students with modern digital skills and nurturing their artistic capabilities and intellectual growth.
According to the University Spokesperson, the event was designed to cultivate self-confidence, originality, and visual storytelling skills among future educators.
The students showcased a wide range of artistic works, including visual arts, sketching, painting, and paper crafts. The exhibition also focused on sustainable art, where students transformed simple raw materials into meaningful projects through recycling and clay modeling. The display also included aesthetic cards and innovative decorative designs.
The exhibition also provided a supportive platform for learners to explore their imagination and cultural heritage.
Throughout the day, faculty members, administrative officers, and students from various departments visited the stalls. They highly appreciated the craftsmanship and creative vision demonstrated by the students of the Education Department.
