QUETTA, Nov 20 (APP):The Provincial Election Commission (PEC) Balochistan organized a critical training session for Master Trainers at its Quetta office Thursday, marking a key step in preparations for the upcoming local body elections.
The session conducted by Sajid Ali, Director Training, and Muhammad Naeem Ahmed, Director Admin, from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), a total of 24 Master Trainers participated in the session.
Addressing the session, Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan, Ali Asghar Sial, reaffirmed the Commission’s unwavering commitment to holding free, fair, and transparent elections.
He urged all officers to ensure strict adherence to the law, non-partisanship, and transparency throughout the electoral process.
“The objective of this training is to enhance the capacity of the Master Trainers and guide them on electoral procedures, management of polling stations, enforcement of the Code of Conduct, dispatch and receipt of election materials, and effective and transparent coordination during election day,” Ali Asghar Sial added.
The trained Master Trainers will now provide high-quality training to polling staff across Quetta.
Ali Asghar Sial emphasized that all officers must perform their duties with honesty and impartiality to ensure the successful and peaceful conduct of the elections.
At the conclusion of the session, participants were provided with mock exercise kits to help them prepare their respective teams for election day procedures.
