FAISALABAD, Nov 20 (APP):The divisional administration achieved another milestone in its drive to expand the network of quality education as the newly established sub-campus of Divisional Model College was inaugurated in FDA City on Sargodha Road.
Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar unveiled the inauguration plaque while Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhary, Additional Commissioners Aamir Raza and Asif Chauhan, Principal DMC Campus Mirza Yaseen and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the divisional commissioner said that DMC sub-campus has initially been launched in a rented building as the administration is committed to advance educational opportunities.
He said that the admissions have been started from Class I to V under complete Cambridge system and the students would later progress to O-Level and A-Level education within the same campus.
He also inspected classrooms and reviewed academic and administrative facilities, furniture standards and overall learning environment.
He said that establishment of DMC sub-campus in FDA City would provide affordable and high-quality educational facilities to the children of FDA City residents and neighboring communities.
He directed the faculty and administration to maintain excellence in teaching and campus management.
He said that once the under-construction state-of-the-art air-conditioned multipurpose building is completed, all classes would be shifted there.
He said that Divisional Public Schools and Colleges, operating under the supervision of divisional administration, had consistently upheld high academic and moral standards.
Their graduates are serving with distinction in science and technology, literature, civil and military services and other key fields which is an achievement that added to the prestige of the institution, he added.
Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhary thanked the divisional administration for establishing DMC sub-campus in FDA City and credited its prompt launch to the personal interest and efforts of the divisional commissioner.
He said that this initiative would not only accelerate development of the residential project but also provide dignified and low-cost educational opportunities to children in the area.
Earlier, Principal Mirza Yaseen briefed the visiting officials on academic and administrative arrangements.
Later, commemorative shields were also presented to Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar and DG FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhary.
