ISLAMABAD, Nov 20 (APP): The Chairperson of the Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA), Dr Sohail Munir on Thursday visited the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and met with Chairperson Akif Saeed and senior management.
Akif Saeed shared an overview of the Commission’s digital journey, spearheaded by its flagship Leap Project, said a press release issued by the SECP.
He specifically focused on the end-to-end digitalization of the company registration process, aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business in Pakistan.
Dr Sohail Munir presented a summary of the PDA’s mandate to accelerate digital transformation across the country and thanked the SECP for its proactive engagement.
Both sides agreed to hold follow-up meetings in the near future to further explore collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
