TANK, Nov 20 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Tank Tanweer Khan has vowed that the ongoing Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign in the district would be ensured success at all costs, with the administration deploying all available resources to achieve its target of vaccinating around 75,456 children.
Speaking during a briefing attended by Program Coordinator Dr. Arshad Nawaz and officials of the Health Department, the DC said children’s health was a top priority and warned that negligence or laxity in the campaign would not be tolerated.
He directed all relevant departments to strengthen monitoring of field teams and ensure daily performance reporting.
He also instructed the police to provide foolproof security to vaccination teams so that they can safely reach remote areas.
The DC praised the commitment of field staff, describing their efforts as a national service.
He urged parents to fully cooperate with vaccination teams and ensure their children receive the measles and rubella shots, saying the drive is a shared national responsibility aimed at safeguarding the future of the district’s children.
