ISLAMABAD, Nov 19 (APP):The price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs7,900 on Wednesday, reaching Rs431,562 per tola compared to Rs423,662 on the previous day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs6,773, rising to Rs369,994 from Rs363,221, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs6,209 to Rs339,173 against yesterday’s Rs332,964.
In the international market, gold was traded at $4,092 per ounce, showing an increase of $79 from the previous rate of $4,013.
The price of silver also registered an upward trend. Silver per tola rose by Rs177, reaching Rs5,422 compared to Rs5,245 a day earlier, whereas the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs152 to Rs4,648 from Rs4,496.
International silver prices stood at $51.50 per ounce, up by $1.77 from the prior level of $49.73.
