10 commercial units sealed for operating without approved maps, commercialization fees

MULTAN, Nov 19 (APP):The Multan Development Authority Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday sealed at least 10 commercial units for operating without approved maps and failing to deposit commercialization fees.
According to a spokesman, a commercial weighing scale located at Southern Bypass Road near Dunyapur Chowk, was sealed for non-payment of commercialization fees.
Under the supervision of the Director Enforcement, the team carried out a grand operation against defaulters across the city. On Southern Bypass Road, the commercial market of Rana Gulzar was sealed. On Bahawalpur Road, the commercial office of Waqas Ahsan was sealed.Similarly, on Multan Bypass Road, the commercial motor showroom of Masood-ur-Rehman was sealed, along with the commercial scrap warehouse of Muhammad Saleem.
Near Vehari Chowk, the Nayab Commercial Center owned by Zawar Hussain and Altaf Hussain was sealed.
Near Head No Bahar on Bahawalpur Road, the commercial premises of Hameed Niazi and Khan Zakaullah Niazi, belonging to a kids’ transport company, were sealed. On Multan Bypass Road, the commercial property of Sagheer Ahmed was also sealed.
In New Shah Shams Colony, three properties were sealed. They included as Alexair High School at plot number 419-D, Rahat Grammar School at plot number 238-B, and a property located at plot number 46-D.
The spokesman said the operation would continue until all defaulters clear their dues and obtain proper map approvals as required by law.
