RAWALPINDI, Nov 18 (APP): Controller of Examinations, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi, Tanveer Asghar Awan, on Monday conducted a detailed inspection of various examination centres and marking centres in Chakwal, and issued strict directions for full enforcement of the zero-tolerance policy against the cheating mafia.
During the visit, he thoroughly reviewed security arrangements, seating plans for candidates, staff attendance, delivery of examination material, facilities provided to students, performance of superintendents, and measures taken to ensure transparency.
He made it clear that copying or any irregularity will not be tolerated under any circumstances and the Punjab government’s zero-tolerance policy will be implemented in letter and spirit, with the strictest action taken against violators.
While inspecting the marking centres, Tanveer examined the standard of paper checking, attendance of examiners, supervision system, and all steps taken to maintain transparency in the marking process.
He directed all examiners to strictly follow the prescribed code of conduct and warned that any negligence, favouritism, or carelessness would be dealt with firmly.
He reiterated to upload transparency and merit in the examination system at all costs.
