PESHAWAR, Nov 18 (APP):A suicide bombing took place on Tuesday near Doghoda Bridge in the Surani area, district Bannu falling under the jurisdiction of Basia Khail Police Station.
According to district police, a motorcycle-borne suicide attacker blew himself up upon reaching the site.
The explosion was heard in nearby localities, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement and security personnel.
Police officials said that, fortunately, no loss of life or property occurred in the incident. The attacker died on the spot.
Security forces swiftly sealed off the area and launched a search and clearance operation. Forensic teams have been called to collect evidence, while investigators are examining possible links and motives behind the attempt.
