FAISALABAD, Nov 17 (APP): An awareness campaign through livestock mobile training school bus is underway for the students and livestock farmers in rural areas across the division under the aegis of Punjab Livestock Department.
Divisional Director Livestock Dr Syed Nadeem Badar said here Monday that the mobile training school bus visits rural areas according to its prescribed schedule in the districts where the veterinary staff sensitize the farmers about diseases and look after the animals through audio and video documentaries.
The farmers were told about animal care according to seasonal change, vaccination schedule for prevention of animal diseases, importance of rural poultry farming, information about CM livestock card, awareness about various animal diseases especially lumpy skin disease, nutritional importance of milk, eggs and meat, etc.
He said that the results of training programs in schools are very optimistic and awareness is being raised among the new generation about livestock farming.
