QUETTA, Nov 17 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Quetta Mehrullah Badini on Monday urged the teachers to pay special attention to character building and quality education of children.
He said this while paying a detailed visit to Government High School Prince Road.
He also met the students and reviewed the educational environment and spoke to the teachers and administration.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the laboratory, library and various classes and expressed deep interest in the educational activities of the students.
During the visit, a complaint received regarding the occupied land near the school was also reviewed on the spot.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned institutions to ensure the protection of the school land and to immediately end any illegal activities.
He said that education is the basis of the development of nations and the Balochistan government is taking all possible steps to provide quality education.
He said that the improvement of government schools is among our priorities and we wanted every child to have equal educational opportunities.
He further said that modern labs, functional libraries and a clean environment are the foundation of a quality education system for which the district administration would provide full support.
The Deputy Commissioner also urged the students to study with dedication, bring glory to their parents and play their role in the development of the country.
