ISLAMABAD, Nov 17 (APP):The Supreme Court on Monday adjourned the hearing on a bail plea filed by a courier company manager in a narcotics case, while directing the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) to submit the accused’s CCTV footage in court.
The two-member bench, led by Justice Mandokhel, questioned how drugs were reaching urban areas and why they were not being intercepted at the border.
He remarked that the issue was not limited to a few kilograms, but narcotics were entering the country in tons.
The court adjourned further hearing on the manager’s bail plea and instructed the ANF to present the accused’s CCTV footage before the bench in the next session.
