SIALKOT, Nov 17 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Sialkot, Saba Asghar Ali, inaugurated a 12-day measles and rubella vaccination campaign at the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Muradpur, Sialkot.
According to the DC office spokesperson, the district aims to vaccinate 599,193 children aged six months to five years.
A total of 136 fixed centers and 358 outreach teams have been deployed to ensure maximum coverage, with teams visiting households to administer vaccines.
DC Saba Asghar Ali urged parents to cooperate with vaccination teams to protect children from measles and rubella.
District Health Officer Dr. Ahmed Nasir, Dr. Shehzad Iqbal, Dr. Waleed Iqbal, Dr. Sidra Gilani, and representatives from UNICEF and WHO attended the ceremony.
