Second phase of Chief Minister’s Easy Business Finance Scheme launched

LAHORE, Nov 16 (APP): An important meeting was held at Peace House under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce, Shafay Hussain, to review the implementation of ongoing schemes by the Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC).
The meeting also evaluated the progress of the second phase of the Chief Minister’s Easy Business Finance Scheme.
Saira Umar, Managing Director of the Punjab Small Industries Corporation, provided a detailed briefing on the implementation and status of various development schemes.
Addressing the meeting, Minister Shafay Hussain emphasized the significant role played by the Chief Minister’s Easy Business Finance Scheme and Chief Minister’s Easy Business Card schemes in promoting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the province.
He noted the success of the first phase of the Chief Minister’s Easy Business Finance Scheme and highlighted that the second phase had now been launched. Under this phase, interest-free loans ranging from Rs1 million to Rs30 million are being provided. Additionally, the Chief Minister’s Easy Business Export Finance for SMEs Scheme offers interest-free loans of up to Rs50 million.
The provincial minister further informed that a total of Rs90 billion will be provided in interest-free loans during the second phase of the scheme. So far, Rs8 billion has already been disbursed across four targeted schemes: Central, North, South, and Export, under the Chief Minister’s Easy Business Finance Program.
