PESHAWAR, Nov 15 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Irrigation, Riaz Khan, has said that serving the public and resolving their problems on priority is both his responsibility and an honour.
Speaking to local delegations, elders and residents at his residence in Malak Pur, Pir Baba, he said the provincial government is committed to effective service delivery.
He noted that Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has been conducting surprise visits to public places to hear citizens’ concerns and order immediate action, which he termed an example of people-focused governance.
Residents briefed the minister on local issues and development needs.
Riaz Khan assured timely steps and directed relevant departments to address the matters promptly.
He said improving access to health, clean drinking water, education, roads and irrigation facilities remains a key priority, adding that regular public engagement helps ensure quicker problem-solving.
