DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Nov 15 (APP): The district administration on Saturday carried out a major anti-encroachment operation from Dinpur Road to Draban Chowk in line with the directives of the provincial government.
The operation was led by Assistant Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan Syed Arsalan, along with TMO Muhammad Hanif, TOR Muhammad Aqeel Ahmed and Encroachment In-charge Fahad Khan Sadozai, accompanied by the relevant staff. The team removed illegal structures and obstacles erected on both sides of the road.
According to the administration, the drive aims to ensure public convenience and restore smooth movement of traffic on the busy route.
Residents of the area expressed satisfaction over the action, stating that the removal of encroachments has eased daily travel difficulties and improved access along the Dinpur–Draban Chowk stretch.
The district administration reiterated that such operations would continue to maintain order, protect public spaces, and facilitate citizens.
