RAWALPINDI, Nov 15 (APP): The New Town Police busted a two-member gang allegedly involved in street crimes and motorcycle theft, recovering a motorcycle, a rickshaw, six stolen mobile phones and Rs185,000 in stolen cash.
According to the Rawalpindi Police spokesman on Saturday, the arrests were made through a combination of technical and human intelligence. The police also seized a weapon said to have been used in the gang’s criminal activities.
Superintendent of Police Rawal, Saad Arshad, said the suspects would be sent up to court with solid evidence. He added that those depriving citizens of their valuables would not escape the law.
