BAHAWALPUR, Nov 15 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Dr. Farhan Farooq paid a comprehensive visit to the Cardiac Centre at Bahawal Victoria Hospital, where he was accompanied by the Medical Superintendent of the Cardiac Centre, Dr. Gohar Bashir, and Dr. Usama Munir. During the visit, Dr. Farooq meticulously inspected various departments of the facility, including the Critical Care Unit (CCU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Intermediate ICU (IICU), Pediatric Ward, and the Operation Theatre. He conducted a thorough review of the available medical facilities, the performance of diagnostic and treatment equipment, and the staff attendance across different shifts.
Dr. Farooq also interacted with patients admitted to the wards and their attendants to evaluate the quality of treatment, the availability of essential medicines, and the overall services being provided to them. During his visit, the Deputy Commissioner issued directives to the concerned officers to make further improvements to the healthcare services provided to the patients. He emphasized that ensuring high-quality medical treatment for the public remains the top priority for the district administration.
