PESHAWAR, Nov 15 (APP): A ‘Quran Khawani’ (recitation of holy Quran) ceremony was held on the first death anniversary of Businessmen Forum leader, late Senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour at the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Saturday.
On the occasion, the participants prayed for the departed soul of the late Senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour who died last year.
SCCI Senior Vice President Muhammad Nadeem, FPCCI former President and Businessman Forum leader Ghazanfar Bilour and former presidents, traders’ leaders, members, and industrialists and others attended the ceremony.
While expressing views on the occasion, participants paid rich tribute to services of late senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour and vowed to accomplish his mission and follow footprints to continue serving the business community indiscriminately.
Former presidents Engr Maqsood Anwar Pervez, Fuad Ishaq, Zulfiqar Ali Khan and Fazal Moqeem Khan, former senior vice presidents Inayat Khan, Shahid Hussain and Sanaullah Khan and members of the chamber’s executive committee Aftab Iqbal, Abbas Fuad Azeem, Saifullah Khan and Ashfaq Ahmad and members Ihsanullah, Monawar Khurshid, Affaf Ali Khan, Jawad Ahmad Kazmi, Abdul Majid, Shahid Khan, Naeemur Rehman, Ihsanullah, Naeem Qasmi, Rashid Iqbal Siddiqui, Saddar Gul, Fazal e Wahid, Ishaq Ahmad Paracha, Khalid Pakhtunyar, SCCI Secretary General Muqtasid Ahsan and others were present on the occasion.
Later, a prayer ceremony was also held at Bilour House which was attended by Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, former Federal Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, former federal secretary Aziz Ahmed Bilour, Engr. Zahid Arif, Syed Sultan Agha, Sherbaz Bilour and Bilour family members, traders, SCCI members, friends and people from different walks of life.
