RAWALPINDI, Nov 15 (APP): The Morgah Police claimed to have solved a house theft incident after arresting a domestic worker who allegedly stole gold ornaments from her employer’s residence.
According to a Rawalpindi Police spokesperson on Saturday, the suspect had been pilfering gold jewellery during the family’s absence and handing it over to her relatives. The police recovered Rs350,000, said to be the proceeds from the sale of the stolen ornaments.
Superintendent of Police Potohar, Ahmed Talha Wali, said that accomplices and facilitators linked to the case would also be taken into custody. He added that those depriving citizens of their valuables would not escape the writ of law.
