LAHORE, Nov 15 (APP): The Alhamra Modern Art Museum Culture Complex hosted an engaging Artist Talk featuring noted artist Ayaz Jokhio, here on Saturday.
The session explored his creative journey, inspirations and artistic development.
Ayaz Jokhio said his entry into the art world was unplanned, noting that he had no role model in his early years. He credited the National College of Arts (NCA) with shaping his vision, adding that although his initial experience at NCA was confusing, the institution’s training later became the foundation of his growth. He shared that even after graduating he had little expectation of success, yet his time at NCA proved transformative.
The session was moderated by art educator and visual artist Rabeya Jalil.
The Artist Talk series, launched under the guidance of Chairman Alhamra Razi Ahmed, continues to expand, with several artists having participated so far.
Executive Director Alhamra Mahboob Alam said the initiative acknowledges the contributions of senior artists while offering learning opportunities to young artists, students and art enthusiasts.
The session encouraged creative dialogue on contemporary art and its evolving expressions.
