Beijing, Nov 13 (APP): Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Commerce and senior PML-N spokesperson, is serving as group leader of an international delegation of 21 spokespersons from various political parties worldwide.
The group was invited by the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC) to participate in a multi-city workshop and seminar series across China, which commenced on November 10, 2025, said a release issued here on Thursday.
During a key session under the guidance of IDCPC Vice Minister Sun Haiyan, delegates from South Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America and beyond received a detailed briefing on the Communist Party of China’s (CPC) governance model, anti-corruption framework, innovation-driven policies, and people-centered development strategies.
Vice Minister Sun presented the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030), which prioritizes green energy, digital transformation, rural revitalization, and technological self-reliance in AI and semiconductors, targeting approximately 5% annual GDP growth.
The plan builds on the 14th Five-Year Plan’s achievements in poverty eradication and post-pandemic resilience.
She also outlined President Xi Jinping’s vision of a global community of shared future, emphasizing multilateralism, BRI collaboration, and collective responses to climate change and global stability.
As group leader, Afzal Khan highlighted alignment with Pakistan’s priorities under CPEC, particularly in renewable energy and agriculture. “This engagement fosters mutual understanding and strengthens global political dialogue,” he stated.
The IDCPC initiative promotes party-to-party cooperation and shared development.
