BHC launches WhatsApp and email complaint system to enhance transparency

QUETTA, Nov 13 (APP):In a landmark move to promote transparency, accountability and public access to justice, the Balochistan High Court (BHC) has introduced a new digital complaint system, enabling citizens to submit judicial grievances via WhatsApp and email.
According to news release on Thursday, the initiative aims to strengthen the judiciary’s connection with the public by making the complaint process more accessible, efficient and responsive.
Citizens can now file complaints through the WhatsApp: 0335-0926534 (Operational from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on working days), Email: complaints@bhe.gov.pk.
Complaints may be submitted in various formats, including text messages, letters, PDF documents, images, videos and documentary evidence.
However, the court has clarified that voice calls and voice messages via WhatsApp will not be accepted.
It added that the new system reflects the judiciary’s dedication to institutional transparency and responsiveness.
The court has encouraged citizens to actively participate in improving the justice system by reporting grievances through the designated digital channels.
