RAWALPINDI, Nov 13 (APP):The District Health Authority (DHA) on Thursday reported 09 more dengue cases during the last 24 hours, making a total of 1515 cases during the current year.
According to the details released by DHA, 22,898 patients have been screened for dengue since January this year. The dropping temperature has also reduced in-bound patients to 15 who are under treatment in various hospitals.
Vector surveillance from throughout the year reached the checking of 6,494,161 houses with 211,855 positive and 1,909,501 spots with 29,071 positive and destroying 240,926 larvae.
Punitive actions include 4,838 FIRs, 1,942 sealings, 3,751 challans, and fines of amount over Rs.11.45 million.
