LAHORE, Nov 13 (APP):The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has continued its comprehensive cleanliness operations for the 2nd phase of the annual Raiwind Tablighi Ijtema.
Acting on the directions of LWMC CEO Babar Sahib Din, more than 140 sanitary workers, 25 vehicles, and 5 water bowsers have been deployed to maintain cleanliness around the congregation.
To ensure a dust-free environment, daily water sprinkling is being carried out around the venue, while manual sweeping and waste collection are underway in three shifts at Raiwind Haveli and its surrounding areas. Mechanical sweeping and washing are also being conducted on the roads leading to the congregation site.
The LWMC is providing the best possible sanitation facilities to the devotees attending the Ijtema. Sanitary staff and officers will continue working in three shifts until the completion of the second phase of Ijtima.
