NDU delegation visits ANF Headquarters under 27th National Security Workshop

RAWALPINDI, Nov 13 (APP):As part of the 27th National Security Workshop, a 102-member delegation from the National Defence University (NDU) Islamabad, led by Major General Muhammad Raza Aizad, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), visited the Headquarters of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) here on Thursday.
According to an ANF spokesman, the participants received a comprehensive briefing from Director Enforcement Brigadier Syed Imran Ali on the ANF’s organisational structure, its pivotal role in combating narcotics, and the institution’s key achievements and ongoing initiatives in the counter-narcotics domain.
The delegation was informed about ANF’s operational achievements, public awareness campaigns, and its collaboration with national and international partners.
 The participants were also briefed on the ongoing enforcement-cum-awareness drive, launched on August 1, 2025, in educational institutions across the country on the directives of the Prime Minister and the Chief of Army Staff.
The campaign aims to promote awareness among students, faculty, administrative staff, and parents to help curb drug abuse.
Later, an interactive session was held with Director General ANF Major General Abdul Moeed, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), who responded to participants’ queries. The visit concluded with a constructive dialogue underscoring the importance of joint efforts to build a drug-free society.
The delegation appreciated ANF’s professionalism, dedication, and continued contribution to national security and the protection of youth.
