UOG awards certificates to e-rozgaar program graduates

GUJRAT, Nov 13 (APP):The University of Gujrat (UOG) hosted a certificate distribution ceremony at its Hafiz Hayat Campus to honor students who successfully completed the third batch of the Chief Minister’s E-Rozgaar Program.
The program, managed by the UOG E-Rozgaar Center, aims to encourage entrepreneurship, freelancing, and self-employment among youth. Established in 2017, it is Punjab’s first E-Rozgaar Center.
District Officer for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raheel Bajwa, was the chief guest at the event. The ceremony was hosted by Zahid Raza, In-charge of the E-Rozgaar Center and Director of IT, who highlighted the program’s role in fostering innovation and providing youth with opportunities to achieve financial independence.
The initiative offers free, three-month practical training to educated but unemployed youth in areas such as web development, graphic design, digital marketing, e-commerce, AI tools, and Python. Approximately 75 students completed the third batch of training. Certificates were presented by Bajwa, Raza, Ali Murtaza, and other officials.
