Asif, Asjad journey ends in IBSF World C’ship quarterfinals

ISLAMABAD, Nov 12 (APP): Pakistan’s Muhammad Asif and Asjad Iqbal lost in the quarterfinals of the IBSF World Championship 2025 at Doha, Qatar.

According to details, in the quarterfinals, Michal Szubarczyk of Poland beat Asif 4-3 (89-16, 59(58)-51, 33-61, 13-96(96), 7-86(80), 87(80)-0, 104(55)-42) and England’s Harvey Chandler outplayed Asjad Iqbal 4-1 (76-31, 19-57, 59-24, 78-40, 60-20).

Meanwhile earlier in Stage 2 Last 16 result, Asif beat Amir Sarkosh (Iran) 4-2 (97(93)-8, 115(70)-21, 20-65, 43-53, 101-25, 114(57)-25) and Asjad Iqbal defeated Chau Hon Man 4-1 (90(76)-1, 71-41, 50-78, 0-85(84), 28-79(74).
