HYDERABAD, Nov 12 (APP):The National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan organized a comprehensive training session on Safeguarding and Protection under its GAVI-HELP funded project “Reaching the unreached for optimizing Routine immunization in Sindh in Hyderabad.
Ms. Khalida Mallah, an expert on safeguarding, conducted interactive sessions focusing on the importance of ensuring protection and upholding the rights of all individuals, especially within community-based health initiatives. She effectively engaged participants in practical discussions and group activities.
Mr. Tariq Hussain Channar, Program Manager NDF and safeguarding expert, also delivered detailed sessions on Safeguarding and Protection, highlighting NDF’s No Harm Policy and Safeguarding Policy. He emphasized the significance of maintaining safe working environments and promoting accountability in all program activities.
Mr. Abid Lashari, President of NDF Pakistan, expressed his gratitude to the trainers for their valuable time and contributions. He appreciated the active participation of NDF staff working on the immunization project in Hyderabad and underscored the importance of implementing safeguarding and safety measures in the field to protect both staff and community members.
