DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Nov 12 (APP):The district administration of Tank has launched a campaign against stray and rabid dogs under its good governance and public-friendly initiatives.
During the campaign, teams from the Livestock Department are capturing stray dogs from various areas and transferring them to the department’s facility.
According to the Livestock Department, the captured dogs are being neutered and vaccinated to control the growing stray dog population and protect citizens from potential attacks and diseases.
The district administration said that the campaign had been initiated in the interest of public safety and health, and would gradually be expanded to all parts of the district.
Citizens have lauded the administration’s initiative, calling it a positive and long-term solution to a persistent issue.
