GUJRAT, Nov 11 (APP):The Environment Protection Agency (EPA) intensified its crackdown on environmental pollution under the supervision of District Environment Officer Osama Majid.
During inspections of industrial units and kilns, two units violated environmental regulations, one was sealed, and the other was fined Rs 1 million.
In anti-polythene operations, 25 kilograms of banned plastic bags were seized. As part of the smog control campaign, 25 vehicles were checked, with 11 found emitting smoke and fined Rs 22,000.
