Export of sport goods increases 19.19% to $110.953 mln

ISLAMABAD, Nov 11 (APP):The export of sport goods from the country witnessed an increase of 19.19 percent during the first three months of the current financial year (2025-26) as compared to the export of corresponding months of last year.
The country exported sport goods worth US$ 110.953 million during July-September (2025-26) as opposed to the export of US$ 93.087 million during July-September (2024-25), showing growth of 19.19 percent, according to the data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
Among the sports products, the exports of footballs rose by 26.95 percent, surging from US$ 56.338 million last year to US$ 71.519 million during the current year.
The gloves exports, however decreased by 6.18 percent, declining from US$ 15.795 million last year to US$ 14.819 million during the current year, the PBS data revealed.
Likewise, the exports of all other sports goods surged by 17.47 percent to US$ 24.614 million from US$ 20.954 million last year.
Meanwhile, on a year-on-year basis, the sports goods export witnessed an increase of 14.84 percent in September 2025 as opposed to the export same month last year.
The sports goods exports in September 2025 were recorded at US$ 35.715 million against exports of US$ 31.104 million in September 2024.
During the month, the export of footballs and all other sports products witnessed an increase of 29.54 and 22.51 percent respectively whereas the export of gloves decreased by 33.37 percent.
Meanwhile, on a month-on-month basis, the exports of sports goods witnessed a nominal decrease of 1.79 percent during September 2025, in contrast to the exports of US$ 36.366 million in August 2025, the PBS data revealed.
On a month-on-month basis, the exports of footballs and gloves decreased by 0.68 and 20.86 percent while the exports of other sport product increased by 8.16 percent.
