ISLAMABAD, Nov 11 (APP):The price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs5,900 on Tuesday as the per tola rate rose to Rs435,762, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs5,065, reaching Rs373,595, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs4,901 to Rs342,474.

In the international market, gold climbed by $59, with the global price recorded at $4,134.

Meanwhile, silver prices also witnessed an upward trend as the per tola rate of 24-karat silver rose by Rs144 to Rs5,353, and the 10-gram price increased by Rs124 to Rs4,589.

International silver rose by $1.44, reaching $50.91, the association added.
