Road show organized in Sillanwali to promote enhanced wheat production

SARGODHA, Nov 11 (APP):A road show aimed at increasing per-acre wheat yields was organized by the agriculture (extension) department in Sillanwali.

According to an official spokesperson on Tuesday, the event saw active participation from officers, field assistants, staff members, and agricultural graduates.

Participants carried banners and placards advocating for the use of certified seeds, balanced fertilizers, modern agricultural machinery, and timely sowing to improve wheat productivity.

The assistant director, speaking at the event, highlighted that awareness campaigns are being held throughout the district to educate farmers on modern farming techniques.

At the conclusion of the road show, informational pamphlets were distributed to the public, encouraging farmers to stay connected with the agriculture department to adopt better farming practices and increase wheat production.
