PESHAWAR, Nov 11 (APP):According to the provincial Home and Tribal Affairs Department, 800,000 Afghan citizens have returned from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Torkham recording the highest number of departures.
A spokesperson for the department stated that on November 10, some 1,175 registered Afghan citizens and 342 Afghan account holders returned to Afghanistan. In addition, 839 undocumented Afghans were also sent back.
The report further noted that the total number of undocumented Afghan residents in the province has now exceeded 644,000, while since April 2025, around 1,326 Afghan citizens have temporarily stayed at various transit centers before returning home.
