LAHORE, Nov 10 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said she is en route to Belem, Brazil, to participate in the COP-30 conference, where Punjab’s environment-friendly initiatives will be highlighted.
She shared on social networking website ‘X’, “The vast forests surrounding Belem remind us that nature teaches balance, patience, and resilience. There is so much to learn from nature.”
The chief minister emphasized that Punjab’s journey towards a greener and more sustainable future continues with full zeal. She said the province will effectively present its environmental initiatives at the conference.
CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif noted that her participation in COP-30 underscores the Punjab government’s firm commitment to addressing climate change and promoting sustainable development in line with global environmental goals.
