LAHORE, Nov 09 (APP): Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan on Sunday called upon youth to draw inspiration from Iqbal’s life to build a prosperous and progressive society.
In a message issued here in connection with the birth anniversary of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal the speaker said, “Philosophy of selfhood propounded by Iqbal is a guiding light for the entire humanity.”
The role of Iqbal in the Pakistan movement and the awakening of the Muslim Ummah was of immense historical significance, he maintained.
He said, “Iqbal’s vision of self-reliance and patriotism inspires the youth to strive for excellence.”
Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan stated that the youth could achieve new heights of progress by following Iqbal’s message.
The speaker prayed that may the Allah Almighty grant us the ability to fulfill Iqbal’s vision for Pakistan.
