RAWALPINDI, Nov 09 (APP): A solemn ceremony was held here on Sunday to honor the birth anniversary of the great philosopher, poet of the East and national hero, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal. The Punjab Tourism Force (PTF) organized the event at GPO Chowk, Murree.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by an impressive parade by PTF personnel, who saluted the national poet. Addressing the gathering, the PTF officials highlighted Allama Iqbal’s role as more than a poet, describing him as a symbol of ideology, inspiration, and national vision. “Iqbal taught the youth the values of selfhood, determination, and service to the nation,” the officials said.
They reaffirmed that the Punjab Tourism Force remains committed to serving the country with renewed dedication, promoting tourism, and working toward the realization of Iqbal’s vision of a prosperous Pakistan.
The event concluded with a special prayer for the nation’s progress, peace and stability, and for strength to uphold the timeless message of Allama Iqbal.
