RAWALPINDI, Nov 09 (APP): Police have successfully arrested 10 individuals for violating the marriage laws in the jurisdiction of Mandra police station here on Sunday.
According to police spokesman, police also seized Rs125,000 in cash along with a sound system, amplifiers, a computer setup, a laptop, and other equipment used at wedding ceremony.
Police have registered separate cases against all of them and further investigation is underway.
SP Saddar commended police team for their swift action and stated that the detained suspects will be presented in the court with solid evidence. He said that those disturbing public peace through loud sound systems will face strict legal action and will not be spared.
